Economics Arkansas honored Ms. Townsend for her learning unit "Gummy Biz Kids! Sweet Startups in Action," a 12 week unit for 5th grade GT students, which culminated with students pitching ideas for businesses Shark-Tank style to a panel of real business owners and community members.

Big victory for a young local athlete! LISA Academy Rogers-Bentonville Elementary is proud to celebrate Norah, a bright and determined first grader from Ms. Tackett's class, who took first place in the 400-meter dash at a competitive youth track meet in Overland Park, Kansas.
